Emergency messaging on every screen, in one action.
An evacuation is not the moment to open three consoles. On a plant floor or across a multi-story building, there is already a display wherever the announcement has to reach. In Lima a predefined message replaces all scheduled content on the network in one action.
full screen, every site
The message is prepared in advance and sent at once.
In an emergency nobody writes text, selects displays, or checks a list. The preparation is done beforehand, and all that is left at the moment is starting it.
A prepared playlist. Content for an evacuation, a fire, or a security alert is prepared ahead of time as a playlist, so there is nothing to choose when the moment comes.
One action. A single button in the top bar of the console starts the message on every display on the network, whether the display is a Samsung, an LG, or a ViewSonic.
Visible state. While the takeover is active the console turns red. Another operator who opens it at that moment sees the takeover at a glance.
Return to normal. When the message is released, each display returns to its own schedule, and nothing has to be reassigned.
Planned interruptions use the same mechanism.
Its use goes further. Site closures, maintenance windows, and out-of-hours notices are broadcast across the whole network from a prepared playlist in exactly the same way.
In the on-premises edition, the message travels over the local network, from the organization's own server to the displays. Because the command does not pass through an outside relay, the takeover does not depend on the organization's internet connection. In the cloud edition, the takeover reaches each display over its internet connection.
A drill confirms the message appears everywhere it should.
Evacuation drills use the same action, so the message is tested on real displays under real conditions. The screen detail page confirms what a display is showing at that moment with a live screenshot.
A display that cannot be reached shows as offline in the console and, in the on-premises edition, raises an alarm by webhook or Zabbix, so a drill exposes the areas a message would not reach before a real emergency does.
